Read Advice from 37 Moms about Question ‘storing baby clothes

Hi Moms,
My little guy just "graduated" to his 3-6 month sized clothing, and I have some really cute clothes from the "nb" and "0-3" sizes I'd like to save. We're not planning to have another kidlet soon--maybe in two years? And of course we might not have another boy, but we have lots of neutral clothes in these small sizes. What's the best way to store this clothing (and my maternity clothes as well)? I've stored some of my old clothes in under-bed bins, but they reeked of plastic, even after washing. I'd ultimately like to store the baby/maternity clothes in the garage. Any suggestions as to how to store these clothes well, keeping both bugs and plastic smells away?

Read Advice from 12 Moms about Question ‘Funky clothes for older girls

I am at a loss. How come there are so many cute, independently-designed clothes for little girls (and boys), but not for older kids? I have two daughters and have gotten them all kinds of great clothes at places like Grasshopper and Polliwog. But my mere 7-year-old is very tall and now needs size 10-12 but all the non-chain boutiques stop at size 6-8. Why is this? I am still willing to spend money on my daughter but I want to buy her funky things that are still 'little girl'-like. The offerings at Nordstrom's and Gap are all 'pre-teen' and trendy, and way too mature for my daughter. Does anyone know of a place to find cute clothes for big girls?
