I have been seriously thinking of homeschooling my 3 yr old daughter. The problem i have is i have no ideas whatsoever how to start, where to start and what to teach her. I know other parents homeschool and have also had to start somewhere. If you could offer any ideas or info on where to begin i would really appreciate it. Is ther a lesson plan offered by the school dist for homeschooling?, do i have to register her with an agency to identify her as a home schooled child? Are there certain criteria i have to meet to do this? And how do i get her gade level recognition etc.? These are just a few of my many questions. I don't even know if i can do this. If you homeschool could you give me some info on how you started and where you get learning materials from etc.?
I am considering homeschooling my children. My kids are very young 15 months and 30 months, but I would like to start getting them on a daily routine or "curriculum" if you will. My only criteria is that it must be lots of fun, at their age their job is to play!!!! I just need a little guidance, the schedule is more for me than for the kids it is easy for me to get lost with what I am doing and lose focus on them. For when they get older what are the advantage and disadvantages of homeschooling. How does it exactly work? How do you stay motivated??????
I really would just like to hear from any moms who have or are currently homeschooling their children. There are many programs to choose from as far as curriculum but I just need to hear from other moms about their successes.
Does anybody have any experience with homeschooling their children? I am seriously considering this for my three little girls and was wondering if there was anybody that has actually gone through this successfully. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
hi, are there any homeschoolers out there? i have made the decision to homeschool my 2 youngest, and am just wondering how to get started. please don't tell me all the reasons not to do it, the decision is made. i am just curious about other peoples experiences, any legal issues, and what support groups have been helpful. thanks!
