Hello all, I am a mother of a beautiful 10 year old daughter and the request I have is for me actually. Over the past month I have been having a problem with static electricity. I think thats what it is anyway. Let me explain, I get shocked when i touch anything. I have turned on the typewriter at work and i have turned the computer off just with my touch. I see a blue spark when shock something or someone. It didn't bother me until i turned the typewrite on at work when my thigh touched the keyboard. I can't hug my daughter or husabnd without giving them a jolt as well. I am scared to touch anything electrical in fear of the jot I might get. I have no idea what is going on, I have changed my shoes, my fabric softner, soap everthing. At night when i run my fingers through my hair i can hear the crackling of static its driving me crazy! Any help would be welcome and no I'm not crazy!
My 15 mth old daughter has fine, wispy hair that is a static electricity nightmare. I realize it is bad because it's winter, but I need to find something to help it. It is continuously clinging to her forhead and in her eyes, all over her face, and driving her crazy. Does anyone have a solution to this?? Something on the natural side?
This must sound like the most stupid post ever, but it's necessary as this is driving me insane. Static electricity is killing me, I'm so TIRED of being zapped! I don't live in some magical electric house, so it's not Connecticut LIght & Power's fault, that I know of! Unlike others in my house, I am a target for electric ZAPS all damn day. I cower in fear as I'm about to reach for anything, knowing fully I'm going to get another shock. Everyone else in this house or anywhere is fine, and I'm getting painful zaps all day, what the heck's going on with me? I feel like that guy in the movie "Powder" who was a ball of electricity! I seriously want to buy "the grabber" so I can stop being hurt. Maybe should I try wearing sneakers to "ground" myself? What the heck's going on, and is there any solution? Anyone have any ideas, I can't stand this anymore!!!
